Well, it is now officially 21 days since I have arrived in London and things are gradually starting to come together. however, time has absolutely flown past! soon I will have to pay my second round of rent and no longer am such a newbie on the tube. I find the tube very good for reading, and have secured a new library membership! My library is well, quaint, very old school. they even use stamps in the front cover of the book to tell you which day it is due. There is not anything online as far as I am aware. If I want to renew a book, I have to call them or walk into a branch. nonetheless, they seem to have a pretty good selection which should keep me busy on the Tube for now.
I have been taking lots of Tube trips because I have actually had quite a few interviews. This is good because it means I have travelled all over the city, and visited many neighborhoods. I am still convinced I live in the best place though! I am applying for lots of jobs everyday, and have had a few good responses from a few. I am now used to getting a bit lost, and so can arrive ontime, as long as I have an extra 30 minutes or so to wander the streets with my map out. Today I had the scary experience of turning down a position- although I'm still convinced in the logical part of my brain that this was the right decision. 1.75 hour commute to a windowless office is not what I had in mind when I imagined living in London. I will lower my standards later I think. I have 3 interviews lined up for this week, with 2 in particular that look quite good. I'm hoping hard that this is my lucky week.

I predict that luck is naught to do with your job search and I predict you will get one at TVgenious.

you are very good at guessing! Well, luck, hard work, and hard-hoping is the right combination I think.
