Natural History Museum

It may only be November, but everything is getting a bit crispy and a bit Christmassy here- this weekend we visited London's Natural History Museum. I was delighted to find it was one of the most beautiful buildings I have seen in London- and the picturesque skaters in front only increased its beauty! Inside was the perfect blend of old architecture and new, modern exhibits. Highlights included the entry way (jaw dropping)

the building was purpose-built in the late 1800s for the natural history collection of the British Museum- although the British Museum no longer owns the collection.

A second highlight was seeing stardust- the oldest thing possible to see, as it existed before the start of our galaxy. Plus various meteors from planets far far away. We will have to return one day and go see the dinosaurs- the line was too long too long when we visited.

Hi Emma,
I thought stardust was a thing of songs and tinkerbell. Is it real?
